Roadmap: Our Next 18 Months
Evergreen is new, and we want you to see where we’re headed. Here’s what we plan to do between now and spring 2028. We’ll update this page as we go.
Now through early 2027
Lay the groundwork
- Volunteer teachers review Units 1–5 of the curriculum. Unit 5 is released after final checks.
- We reach out to about 300 partner organizations about The Seven, a few dozen at a time.
- Volunteer legal researchers test each of the seven bills.
- We register as a charity in Massachusetts and grow our Advisory Board.
2027
Test it in real classrooms
- Outside experts review the curriculum.
- Three teachers pilot the curriculum in their classrooms.
- Units 6–8 are completed and released.
- We launch an animated campaign introducing The Seven.
- We hire our first part-time paid staff member and apply for our first foundation grants.
- We adapt the curriculum for classrooms in Kenya and Nigeria with teachers there.
Into 2028
Grow what works
- We expand the pilot to 10 teachers and share what students learned.
- We meet with coalition partners and lawmakers about The Seven.
- We set a plan for adding independent members to our board.
What your gift supports
- Professional curriculum review: independent experts review each unit, at about $10,000 per unit, so schools can trust what they’re teaching.
- Classroom pilots: lab kits, printed materials and support for pilot teachers.
- School supplies for our planned pilot classrooms in Kenya and Nigeria.
- Spanish translation of family letters and student handouts.
- Legal and policy review of The Seven.
- Website hosting and the tools we use to reach supporters.
