The Seven
A package of seven federal bills that addresses the interconnected crises facing the United States: economic inequality, housing instability, mental health and addiction, environmental degradation, a broken political system, and the need for a generation equipped to solve these problems.
Each bill stands alone. Together they form one integrated system.
The first and last bills make the rest possible: the Consumer Funds Protection Act keeps money in working families’ hands, and the Revenue and Fiscal Integrity Act pays for housing, health, environmental repair, and a stronger democracy without adding to the national debt.
1. Consumer Funds Protection and Float Fairness Act
Ends float exploitation. Four titles: bank holds, payment apps, retail refunds, algorithmic transparency.
2. Political Finance Integrity and Accountability Act
Cracks down on corruption, dark money, foreign agents, and the revolving door. Creates an independent Anti-Corruption Commission.
3. Democracy and Election Integrity Act
Public financing, real-time disclosure, AI disclaimers, voting system standards, and electoral certification reform.
4. Healing America Act
Guarantees housing, mental health care, and addiction treatment. 350,000 units of Permanent Supportive Housing. Universal housing vouchers. Right to counsel in eviction. Treats drug use as a health issue, not a crime: personal possession is referred to treatment instead of arrest, with automatic record relief.
5. Environmental Literacy Act
K–12 environmental education grants, teacher pipeline, green schools infrastructure, and a paid Environmental Service Corps.
6. Environmental Restoration and Justice Act
Plastics and PFAS phase-outs. Clean air and water. Biodiversity protection. Tribal land return and co-management. Environmental justice.
7. Revenue and Fiscal Integrity Act
Funds it all through a VAT, a financial transactions tax, corporate tax reform, and a carbon tax. Commits nearly half of revenue to paying down the national debt, offsets the VAT for low-income households and small businesses, and returns carbon tax revenue to households as a Carbon Dividend.
